Why tubular motors are preferred over heavy duty motors. The tubular motor is invisible. That is because it is fitted inside the pipe on which the shutter rolls. Tubular motors are not heavy duty motors, they are suitable for lightweight operation. Mainly designed for domestic use, where aesthetics and noiseless operation is a must. Auto-locking and all other features that are available for the heavy-duty motor are also available for the tubular motor.
